About Gudauri Ski Resort

Gudauri ski resort is the largest and most modern ski resort in Georgia, with a well-developed infrastructure that includes the highest level of access in Georgia, with limitless opportunities for freestyle and skiing in an open environment. The resort is the highest alpine settlement along the Georgian Military Road, also known as the ancient name "Sky Ravine Road". Gudauri is a permanent settlement in one of the five highest points in Europe and attracts mountain lovers all over the world.

In winter, as the snow arrives, Gudauri becomes a spectacular destination with breathtaking ski runs, glistening suns and spectacular views make for the perfect vacation spot.

Natural conditions in Gudauri have been a major prerequisite for the creation of a ski resort. The first ski-lift was built in 1988 and for today, there are 14 in total and most of them are built by the well-known Austrian company Dopelmaier. The lower ski-lift is located at an altitude of 1993 meters and higher one is located at an altitude of 3276 meters.

Gudauri ski slopes are for all levels of skiers. The full distance of the jogging road is 70 kilometers, comprising 20 jogging tracks. The riding tracks are mainly of 4 different types: beginner, intermediate, experienced and professional. Gudauri is a convenient place for those who love to ride in the snow. Its sloping slopes allow for this. The climate in Gudauri is dry and the snow cover reaches 1-2 meters.
